This policy explains how Vantis Strategies LLC, doing business as nuemed, uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What these technologies do
Cookies and similar technologies can remember settings, keep users signed in, protect forms, measure website use and help us understand whether the service is working correctly.
A cookie is a small text file stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. In this policy, "cookies" includes these comparable technologies.
2. Essential technologies
Essential technologies support security, authentication, network management, payment flow, consent preferences and functionality requested by the user. They cannot always be disabled without affecting the service.
These technologies may remember a session, maintain load balancing, prevent abuse, retain a cookie choice or support a transaction. Where applicable law permits, they are used without consent because they are necessary to provide the requested service.
3. Analytics
Where permitted, we may use analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand use of our public website and improve its performance.
Where consent is required, these technologies will not be activated until the user accepts them. Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to the public website.
Analytics may collect information about pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, device, browser, referral source and session performance. We use this information to understand aggregated website activity, diagnose problems and improve navigation and content.
4. Advertising
We do not use patient clinical records for advertising. If advertising or campaign-measurement cookies are introduced on the public nuemed website, they will be identified in the consent controls and activated only where permitted by law.
5. Clinic-configured analytics
A clinic may be able to configure analytics for its own public booking experience. The clinic is responsible for ensuring that its configuration, notice and consent process comply with applicable law. Analytics must not be used to collect clinical records or information from protected areas of the service.
For these clinic-controlled tools, the clinic determines why the analytics is used. Questions about a clinic's tracking should be directed to that clinic.
6. Managing preferences
Users can accept or reject non-essential technologies through the cookie controls where displayed. Browser settings may also block or delete cookies, although some essential functions may then stop working.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time through available cookie controls. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the preference changed.
7. Duration
Some cookies expire when the browser closes. Others remain for a limited period so that a preference or measurement can be recognised. We review durations and keep them no longer than reasonably necessary.
Specific cookie names and durations may change as providers update their technology. The active consent tool, when displayed, provides the most current categories and choices available on the device.
8. Do Not Track and browser signals
Some browsers transmit Do Not Track or similar signals. Because there is no single universally adopted technical standard, our response may depend on the signal and applicable law. Where a legally recognised opt-out preference applies, we will process it as required.
